Ahead of the upcoming friendly with the Republic of Ireland at Wembley on May 29th, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has tweeted a picture of the new England kit.

The kit, worn by a student at Wilshere’s old school, is the first to be designed by England’s new kit manufacturers Nike, who replace Umbro after their 60-year association with England ended this season. Nike will be England’s kit makers in a deal until 2018.
The round-neck shirt features the FA’s 150th anniversary badge emblazoned underneath the crest. Many are comparing it to Germany’s 1974 World Cup-winning kit, which is sure to cause a few smirks here and there.
My first thoughts on the new kit? I miss Umbro already.
