Weekend football betting preview: Bolton Vs Chelsea, Fulham Vs QPR, Stoke and more

Swansea Vs Stoke, Sunday 3.00

Only once in their combined 12 league games this season has either side scored more than a single goal. Stoke were good enough to hold Man United last week and could bring in Huth and Palacios for Whelan and Wilkinson. That makes them a danger but two wins in 13 away does not bode well against a Swansea side that is unbeaten in 11 league games at the Liberty Stadium. Backing one goal or less at 2.16 with your money back if there are two is the way I would bet.

Inter Milan Vs Napoli, Saturday 1945, ESPN

Inter have secured their first wins of the season in Serie A and the Champions’ League this past week and new boss Claudio Ranieri has steadied the ship. Napoli are likely to be without Cavani on Saturday night and he is a major loss. A home win would be the ninth consecutive one in this fixture at the San Siro and is overpriced at odds of 2.10

Bet: Inter Milan at odds of 2.10

Bolton Vs Chelsea, Sunday 1.30pm Sky Sports

Bolton topped the table on day one after a 4-0 win at QPR but since then have slumped to the bottom. Ten defeats in 11 league games and Stuart Holden out long term again. This will be a tough season. Chelsea have easily mastered them in recent years, winning each of the last eight games at the Reebok without conceding a goal. They have only kept two clean sheets in eight games which makes a correct score bet tricky but odds of 2.20 about a two or more goal winning margin with half your stake back if the margin is one is a decent bet.

Bet: Chelsea (-1/1.5) at 2.20

Fulham Vs QPR, Sunday 3pm

Fulham are struggling without a win in the league this season. Their European schedule is taking its toll and QPR will be tough to break down having conceded only three goals in their last five. Rangers have two away wins to their name already but Fulham rarely go down at the Cottage. They have lost only once in 12 at home in 2011 and have drawn all three there this season.
