The Saturday Skills #8 – starring Josep Ilicic and Jody Lukoki

Last week on The Saturday Skills we brought you a round-the-world tour from football freestyler Palle. This week two bits of reader-submitted skills you might have missed. The first is from Italy, where Palermo’s Josep Ilicic dazzled his opponent with this wonderful trick against Chievo:

Thanks to Tom Shaw for the tip on that. The second Saturday Skill is from earlier in the season, during the heated, grudge match derby between Ajax and Feyenoord. With Ajax 2-0 up in stoppage time and cruising, emerging youngster Jody Lukoki rubs salt in the wounds with a cheeky ‘Panna’ to bamboozle Tim De Cler:

Granted the skill takes place off the pitch, but it was good enough to raise a hearty cheer from the Ajax fans, so it’s good enough for us. Thanks go to @jouracule on Twitter for the tip there.
