Valencia vs Manchester United preview – Assessing Los Che
What looked at first glance like a relatively routine group stage draw for Manchester United could get a whole lot more complicated after tonight. Having failed to beat Glasgow Rangers in a rather turgid 0-0 draw that will best be remembered for a horrific injury to Luis Antonio Valencia, United travel to Spain to take on La Liga league leaders Valencia tonight.
Valencia have made a fantastic start to their season. With the game on ITV tonight (for those in the UK) the good people over at ITV.com asked me to run the rule over United’s opponents, Los Che as they are nicknamed. So I did.

Feel free to drop any pre-game comments, observations or predictions in the comments section below. With a number of key players out (Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Neville) it is going to be a very difficult game for United, who I expect to line up in a 4-5-1 formation with Dimitar Berbatov a lone striker, Park and Nani either side and Anderson-Fletcher-Carrick (if fully fit) in midfield.
Champions League, Europe, Manchester United, Valencia
