Vote For Us! – Just Football Nominated Best Football Blog by the FA

There is a reason that we currently have the FA Cup’s Facebook page on Just Football. Earlier today I received exciting news from the Football Association that Just Football has been nominated best football blog by fans of the FA Cup.

We’re on a shortlist of six high quality football sites, and there is a pretty sizeable community of fans on the FA Cup’s Facebook page so it is a real honour to have been chosen by the FA as one of the top football blogs around.

An editor has to make an interesting choice when competitions and awards like these come about. Play it cool or launch firmly onto the campaign trail? Well without getting giddy it would be really nice if we could win the competition. A lot of time and effort goes into running Just Football and while we love what we do, being recognised by the FA like this is a nice way of acknowledging all the hard work.

But being recognised is only half the game. We also want to win! So if you read Just Football and like what we do I’d be really grateful if you could head on over to this page here quickly and vote for us as Best Football Blog in the poll down the left hand side of the page. Then tell your friends and then your enemies, and get them to vote for us too.

If we do win there might just be a pair of tickets to the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium in April in it for you. What other incentive do you need?
