Egypt and Ivory Coast have impressed the most so far, and being adventurous I'd bet on Egypt clinching it this time, once again - they've won the most African Cup tournaments in history.

Hi guys, and thanks for taking the time to read my site.

-online sports guy: from what we have seen so far it looks like nigeria aren't going to bother with this one too unfortunately. their game v mali on friday will be crucial but they really need to up their game because they were poor v cote d'ivoire.

-wes: if i was making a post tournament prediction it would be that mali, surely, will be higher up in the rankings than 10th. guinea may drop, but then again it will depend on how they do against morocco.

-foreign rubbish: thanks for your compliments. ghana on home soil are a good bet, but i feel maybe they lack the firepower to go all the way?

I am surprised that Ivory Coast are fifth and even below Guinea. Lets see how the rankings will look like after the tournament is finished.

My money is on Mali to become the first land-locked country to win a major competition since Czechoslovakia in 1976. Nigeria also always do well and generally get at least to the semi-final...when they bother taking part.
