About Just Football
Hi there. My name is Jonathan and I am the creator and editor-in-chief of Just Football. Chances are if you have found your way onto this page you would like to know a bit more about this here site. So without further ado, let’s get started:
What is Just-Football.com?
Just Football is a UK-based independent football blog with readers in 195 countries (and counting). We have been linked to and recommended by several major publications including Reuters, The Guardian and When Saturday Comes. Our aim is to provide an analytical look at world football – the game, the culture, the spectacle and the passion. Created in November 2007, Just Football is a site that brings you commentary, news, analysis and opinion on issues around the football world – from Argentina to Zambia, from Alan Shearer to Zico.
We try to look at the game from as wide a perspective as possible and analyse this great sport with a degree of reason and balance we feel is not always to be found in the sometimes over-reactionary, Hollywood headline-seeking era of the modern game.
Finally, and importantly, Just-Football.com is a forum aimed at bringing together all those who love the game of football, and with that we encourage you to share your views, express your opinions and contribute to the debate.
How do I contribute?
There are 3 ways in which you can contribute to Just-Football:
1, By leaving comments on articles you have read and sharing your thoughts on the subject. Our articles are written with the aim of stirring debate. Do you agree or disagree with our point of view on an issue? Tell us why!
2, By sending us feedback, suggestions or tips. Is there something you think we should know or write about, or a topic you would like to read more (or less) about on Just-Football? Let us know.
3, By writing for Just-Football. We are always on the lookout for contributors. If you are passionate about a subject, on any aspect of world football, and want to bring out the journalist in you we will happily consider submissions.
